Support for GitLab SAST Report Generation

Privado's Gitlab CI integration now generates a Gitlab-compatible SAST report and adds it to the Gitlab artifact. This allows teams to view Privacy Issues generated by Privado in the GitLab security dashboard next to security issues.

Segment Integration

Privado now integrates with Segment to track data flows from Segment to downstream third parties. Through this integration, Privado can create a comprehensive record of personal data movement, originating from your mobile app or website, passing through Segment, and extending to downstream third parties such as Tiktok and Meta once the Segment integration is enabled.

You can integrate Segment into Privado by following the steps provided here.

Assessment: Customizing Email Notifications

When initiating an Assessment through Privado you are now able to send a customized message via email to your respondents.

You are also enabled to toggle off email notification all together. Allowing your team to manage the communications to the various stakeholders as you see fit. In the image below, the option to send an email is toggled off, resulting in no message being sent.

  • I.E. Some teams opt to send assessments with all related Assessment links via other modes of communication rather than via email.

Code Owner based Assessments

When utilizing the Code Owners - RoPA. You're now able to filter to the code associated to a specific team. Enabling users to view all related data to review or truncating down to a specific team view.

Simulating Accept Cookie Flow on cookie banner to discover Third Parties & Cookies

Privado's Consent Compliance website scans now check for all 3rd Parties and Cookies that are present on the domain(s) you are scanning.

To do this, Privado simulates your website from California and the Netherlands. It performs an accept cookie action on your cookie banner and discovers cookies and third parties.

This advancement gives the privacy and marketing teams a source of truth when reviewing Consent Compliance on their websites. These are viewable via "Consent Compliance" > Selecting the website you've scanned > Reviewing the "Third Parties" and "Cookies" tabs at the top of the screen.
